White hate

Griffith has encountered the "hate stare". Whenever you do something wrong or are just in the wrong spot at the wrong time white people will just give you a twisted scornful look. The reason I think that white people give the hate stare is because they don't know what else to do. If they were able to do something about it I'm sure they would but since all they can do is talk to them about it they won't because they would rather just give a hateful stare then talk to a negro. Just like said here "They don't do it to you because you're Johnny--they don't even know you. They do it against your Negro-ness."
